Recon School: Do you have what it takes?

Recon School is Scorpion Strike Force's primary evaluation course for aquiring new members.  Recon School is comprised of a four phase course that is designed to test candidates physically and mentally.  The reason behind the design of this evaluation course is to weed out those that are not fully committed to the unit or are not what we are looking for as a team.  But don't worry we like to make this fun we aren't looking for olympians and or the next SEAL Team 6 member.

This phase can vary depending on weather and training facility conditions.

Phase 1 is the welcome phase. Don't let the name fool you though, this phase is all PT from start to finish.

This phase normally starts early in the morning hours of the day and spans out for as long as we need.

Phase 1 is designed to wear you out physically and give candidates a mental check whether this is what they want.

Phase 3 is an assessment of your individual skills in field craft.  This can range from your ability to move smoothly through an area with your weapon to being able to follow instructions.  But this course wouldn't be a challange without a little stress added to it.

Phase 2 is a full marksmanship phase.  This phase has been designed to see if you know your weapon and how to use it.  

This phase will probably be the hardest for most to past.  

You must shoot targets at different ranges and much more while maintaining a 70% hit rate.
